The pandemic may have caused havoc on making numerous movies and television shows, but on the way, there is one exciting project.

Home and Away star Todd Lasance in Abducted, a thriller being filmed in Port Douglas, Far North Queensland, is set to star.                                                                                                                                                                                                       A star alongside Love My Way actress Claire van der Boom, 37, will be the 35-year-old model.

The film is about a woman played by Claire, whose daughter of four years is missing at a resort.
Todd will be a star as the husband of the woman, with the pair facing the worst nightmare of any relationship.

‘I feel very blessed to be shooting here in Far North Queensland,’ Claire told the Courier-Mail.

It’s an idyllic, tropical atmosphere that contrasts with my character’s tale of looking for her abducted daughter.’

She added: ‘I have a lot of fun with this cast, and a wonderful crew.’

For Todd, after his wedding in January with Jordan Wilcox in the Hunter Valley, this is back to work.

During an intimate ceremony at Wallalong House, the actor and his lifelong girlfriend said ‘I do’ in front of family and friends.

The pleased couple has been joined during the day my daughter Charlie Rose, three.

Todd, currently based in America, met in 2015 with Jordan, who is from Georgia.

The actor is best known for playing Aden Jefferies on Home and Away between 2005 and 2010, as well as for his appearance as Julian in 2016 in The Vampire Diaries.
